This will be an ongoing project for the next 2-3 months, with hours ranging per week.The Packaging Designer will be responsible for revitalizing product packaging and enhancing brand identity through innovative design solutions that resonate with consumers. This role requires a strong understanding of packaging design principles and branding strategies, with an emphasis on consumer packaged goods (CPG), ideally in the food/snack space.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the marketing and product development teams to innovate and update packaging designs that align with the brand vision.Develop and present design concepts for new and existing products, focusing on innovation and consumer engagement.Work with existing market research to understand consumer preferences and industry trends, applying insights to design decisions.Create and refine logo designs and brand identity elements that enhance product appeal.Design seasonal packaging that reflects current market trends and maximizes sales opportunities.Select color palettes and typography that align with brand standards and resonate with the target audience.QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.Proven experience in packaging design, branding, and logo design, specifically within the CPG industry.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of packaging design projects and brand identity work.Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.Experience in project management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.BenefitsCreative Circle\'s Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
