The AutoCAD Project Designer is a full-time permanent position and is an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the design department. The individual in this position will interact with staff, consultants, and clients as instructed by Senior Management. The work environment will require the individual to work alone and within small teams of two to four experienced engineers and/or AutoCAD designers. This is an in-office position with little to no field work. The successful candidate will have a proven record of diverse AutoCAD projects showing a high level of competency in civil engineering projects.
Engineering Support:
- Design and create AutoCAD drawings
- Ability to learn and aid in hydrologic/hydraulic design work including the hydraulic design of the drainage systems to route surface water flows
- Design of the other site service utilities, water, sanitary sewer, etc.
- Aiding in creating property work and platting drawings, in the efforts to procure state and local permit drawings, and to create construction documents required to execute the site construction

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A plus if you have an associates or college degree in CAD and engineering graphics
- Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience working with ADICPR computer flood route modeling
- At least 5 years experience in this or related work
- Microsoft; Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Ability to research on-line with a variety of computer skills and tools
- Outside client interactions and relationships.
