Position Purpose:
Our dynamic Creative Services team plays a key role in shaping the visual representation of Charis Bible College and our diverse array of TV shows, events, and associated products. We are looking for a skilled Content Specialist, aka graphic design extraordinaire, who will contribute to the development and execution of innovative design solutions that effectively communicate our brand's vision and objectives. This role involves close collaboration with the Creative Services and Brand Manager to ensure that all designs are aligned with strategic goals and enhance viewer interaction.

Essential Duties:
- Develop and execute visual content for a variety of media including digital platforms, print materials, television graphics, and merchandise, ensuring consistent branding across all outputs.
- Work under the guidance of the Creative Services and Brand Manager to conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet strategic marketing objectives, enhancing viewer interaction and brand loyalty.
- Participate in creative sessions to generate innovative design ideas that effectively communicate campaign themes and objectives visually.
- Collaborate closely with team members to produce compelling graphic materials for Charis Bible College, TV shows, events, and marketing campaigns that meet both strategic and aesthetic standards.
- Engage with marketing and project management teams to ensure designs align with overall campaign goals and are delivered within project timelines.
- Provide design support for cross-departmental projects, ensuring a unified brand experience across all touchpoints.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of branding guidelines to ensure consistency in visuals across all departments and media.
- Apply established branding guidelines to all designs, from initial concepts to finished products, ensuring a cohesive brand identity.
- Oversee the design process from concept through to final execution, maintaining high-quality standards and consistency throughout all visual representations.
- Review and approve proofs of printed copy and art and graphic materials developed by other team members, ensuring that all materials meet pre-defined quality and brand standards.
- Utilize a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness to create visually captivating materials that not only align with the brand but also engage and capture the attention of the target audience.
- Handle photography for events and special requests, including shooting, editing, and promptly delivering high-quality photos that meet organizational standards and project specifications.
- Manage and maintain photography and content creation equipment, ensuring proper handling, organization, and tracking of assets between departments using Asset Tiger to facilitate efficient usage and prolong equipment life.
- Maintain exemplary file management practices, organizing and storing digital assets securely using specialized storage solutions such as ProMAX, ensuring easy access and preservation of critical data.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all job functions, ensuring consistent and efficient practices are documented and followed, enhancing productivity and quality across the department.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in graphic design and incorporate new techniques and technologies that can enhance creative outputs and effectiveness.
- Regularly review performance reports on marketing campaigns and visual content; use insights to refine strategies and designs, optimizing for improved performance and engagement.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong creative and visual skills with the ability to produce clean, dynamic, and engaging designs.
- Good understanding of branding principles and the ability to apply them across a range of media.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with other team members and departments.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality visual content.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of content strategy and marketing principles to effectively contribute to campaign goals.
- Strong project management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with proficiency in using project management software such as monday.com to streamline processes and enhance team coordination.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve content effectiveness and brand reach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Work with excellence and attention to detail with little oversight.
- Must be trustworthy to uphold the ministry vision and execute plans as directed.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, is preferred.
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- Charis Bible College graduate preferred.
- Must pass all required checks.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work, including digital, print, and multimedia projects.
- Experience with digital content creation, including web design and social media graphics, is highly desirable.
- At least 2 years of professional design experience, preferably in a media, educational, or entertainment environment.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
