Marketing & Communications Team

GP Creative is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Marketing & Communications team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic problem-solver with a passion for organization, an eye for detail, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects to happy clients on time and within budget. A passion for mission-minded work is crucial, and previous experience working with nonprofit organizations is a plus. Self-motivation and the ability to work with little oversight is a must. You will play a pivotal role in leading clients through the entire creative process, from concept to execution, all while communicating effectively with various stakeholders.

JOB SUMMARY

As a key member of the Marketing & Communications team, this highly organized and detail-oriented professional ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with the client's goals. This person leads projects from planning to execution, coordinating resources and ensuring clear communication with clients and team members. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing timelines, managing budgets, and resolving issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate excels in multitasking, keeping multiple projects on track, and fostering collaborative relationships, all while ensuring that objectives are met and client satisfaction is maintained.

REPORTS TO: Marketing & Communications Team Lead

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development
    • Connect with new and existing clients to build relationships, determine their content and marketing needs, and present the value of working with GP Creative
    • Participate in creative development for all project types GP Creative offers (photo, video, web, design, etc.)
    • Develop proposals for projects and create realistic strategies within available resources
    • Assist with creative meetings to develop content and strategy; create and organize CPD (Creative Planning Document) to effectively communicate project details and creative direction. May include copywriting, shotlisting, and directing
  • Take primary responsibility for the organization of project details, including proposals, due dates and deadlines, and staff assignments
  • Communicate well with all relevant stakeholders, GP Creative team members, and clients
  • Work closely with other team members to identify priorities and maintain project deadlines
  • Work closely with GP Creative Team to uphold brand standards and maintain strong understanding of client identities, content needs, and goals
SKILLS + PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Experience working with nonprofit companies and small businesses preferred
  • Ability to remain organized while managing several projects simultaneously
  • Team player with a consistent positive attitude and the ability to manage others effectively
  • Creative mindset, ability to think "outside the box" while remaining within the resources available
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work closely with clients
  • Ability to recognize needs and implement solutions with little oversight; self-motivated
  • Valid driver's license with no excessive traffic violations
  • Very inventive thinker, a visionary leader who loves collaboration
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work Environment - This job primarily operates in an office-type setting with appropriate climate-control. Some tasks may require working outdoors and may be subject to varying environmental conditions.
  • Physical Demands - This is a medium-work role which requires the ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently. Walking and standing are required frequently with the ability to kneel, crouch, lift, push, carry, twist, reach, and climb occasionally.

EXPECTATIONS AND COMPENSATION
  • This position is to constitute one full-time exempt position, approximately 40 hours per week
