We are seeking individuals to join our Baking team! The Rocco's Baking Team is made up of hard working, ambitious, coachable, honest, reliable team players. In this role, we will teach you everything you need to know and are willing to train the right team member. In this role, we will teach you everything you need to know and are willing to train the right team member. Responsibilities:
- Preparation of baked toppings for the day
- Ability to work overnight shifts (3AM-9AM, 12AM-7AM, 8PM-2AM)
- Decorating doughnuts according to the current menu
- Understanding the breakdown of doughnut quantities needed for each Rocco's location
- Understanding the store delivery schedule and driver's schedule to ensure doughnuts are ready to leave promptly at the set time.
- Executing catering & special orders including but not limited to: Giant doughnuts, Mini Doughnuts, Small Doughnuts, Platters, Custom Orders
- Being able to maintain the decoration pace and flow. It's all about efficiency here!
- Need to have a thorough understanding of Rocco's standards for: Glaze, Frosting Consistency, Baking Temperatures, Dough Shape and Texture, and Visual Aesthetics- We will teach you this!
- Willingness to collaborate on doughnut ideas and bring new flavor profiles to the Rocco's menu
- Helping BOH Manager with FIFIO'ing throughout the week to ensure product freshness for BOH refrigerator, glazes, topping, and dry goods
- Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
- Prepare custom orders
- Preparation and production of our doughnuts (Mixing, cutting, proofing, frying)
- Operate manual and automatic machinery
Qualifications:
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety practices- We will teach you!
- Previous experience decorating desserts is desired but not required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player with strong leadership skills
- Available for early morning shifts or late evening
