Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learn:

Develop a comprehensive view of the enterprise SSD market – size, drivers, ecosystem, trends

Understand key suppliers and their respective SWOT analysis, market attribute

Have a good technical grasp of each supplier’s offerings in the marketplace (technical collateral including datasheets, solution guides, cookbooks ) as well as public announcements (blogs, PR, roadmap announcements, industry participation)

Contribute:

Create and deliver technical content – blogs, tutorials, sample applications, presentations to enable sales and showcase WD enterprise SSD portfolio

Engage in outbound opportunities – channel, partner events, industry shows, webinars, customer meetings

High level scripting to develop and maintain demos

Key Attributes:

Have a good understanding of the enterprise datacenter market.

Have worked in customer facing technical roles.

Willingness to roll up sleeves and dig in – to understand workloads, storage architecture, key technology trends in the Datacenter…

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

BS/MS or equivalent experience required

Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle

Strong understanding of Flash based products

8+ years in product management
