About The Role:
Mechanical designer will utilize Creo-9 software to create models, drawings and Bills of Materials. Will work closely with designers/engineers and document all work using the Windchill Change Authorization Process (WCAP).

$61,213 - $107,122 Annually

About The Role:
Mechanical designer will utilize Creo-9 software to create models, drawings and Bills of Materials. Will work closely with designers/engineers and document all work using the Windchill Change Authorization Process (WCAP).
Role Responsibilities:
- Generate Bills of Materials to reflect unique niche Data Center design
- Coordinate ETO Drafting/BOMs/SAP for Data Center Centrifugal Compressors
- Lays out and draws schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
- Follows established drafting standards and principles to prepare layouts and drawings of machinery, equipment, or structures from engineering specifications.
- Masters' computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools, utilizing CREO.
- Develops complex detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls.
- Drafts detailed and assembly drawings of design components, circuitry and printed circuit boards, using computer-assisted equipment or standard drafting techniques and devices.
- Associates degree with 4+ years of CREO and rotating equipment experience
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of CREO and rotating equipment experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Creo-4, mechanical components, assemblies and drawing packages.
- Aptitude in machine design (an understanding of engine or turbo design, rotating equipment).
- Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly methods.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficient with MS Word & MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills
