Reports to: Director of CommunicationsHours Commitment: 40-45 hours per weekObjective: The Marketing Director has expertise in developing and executing campaigns that drive engagement across physical and digital platforms. Skilled in analytics, public relations, and creative problem-solving, including strong communication and leadership abilities. Experienced in managing teams, collaborating across departments, and fostering media relationships to increase brand visibility and awareness, as well as the story of what God is doing at our church to help us even more effectively fulfill our mission statement as a church.Personal Qualifications:Can articulate an identifiable salvation experience and lives out a pattern of spiritual development and regular participation at LCBC. Be an LCBC Partner or willing to become a Partner within 60 days of employment.Marketing Director Requirements:8+ years of experience in a leadership role in marketing, communications, or public relations. Helps team members identify areas for growth through their yearly Action and Development plan while meeting regularly to discuss progress. Excels at identifying problems and providing creative solutions in collaboration with the broader communications team to inspire and inform internal and external audiences. Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns that drive attendance and engagement at physical locations and on digital channels. Expertise in marketing analytics, with the ability to design reports, analyze performance, and optimize reach, engagement, and attendance across traditional and digital platforms. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide valuable support across teams. Skilled in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, while leading a team toward achieving goals and maintaining accountability. Able to make recommendations, establish, and keep track of a department budget to allocate resources strategically. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Marketing Director Responsibilities:Develop, execute, and proactively lead an ongoing marketing strategic plan based on priorities outlined by the Director of Communications. Leads team of Marketing teammates, providing coaching, feedback, regularly scheduled 1:1's with each team member Lead the development and execution of internal and external promotional campaigns for LCBC and its ministries. Collaborate closely with broader Communications, Digital, and Technology teams in the execution and implementation of various marketing collateral. Establish and maintain media relationships for each market LCBC serves. Provide best practices and coaching to team members with regard to public relations and engaging with media representatives. Monitor the content and engagement across all of LCBC's digital channels and platforms. Proactively work to find creative and compelling ways to share LCBC's story internally and externally. Has the ability to self-teach and learn new things through research, experimentation, and finding resources to grow their skills. Guard and protect LCBC's brand.Evaluation: The Marketing Director will meet regularly with the Director of Communications for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year
