Minot State University Athletics' Department is looking for a Graduate Assistant to join their Communications/Video Service team. This individual will report to the Director of Video Services. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in athletic administration.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting the athletic department with daily operations.
* Assisting Director of Video Services with development and implementation of athletic departments media campaigns.
* Assisting the Director of Video Services with game operations, broadcasting, GameDay staffing, equipment safety checks, and equipment changeover.
* Developing and implementing promotional games for/during athletic events.
* Other duties assigned by Director of Athletics.
Certificationslicenses and minimum requirements:
* Bachelor's degree required.
* Acceptance into Minot State University's graduate program.
* Expected work hours include normal Athletics Department business hours, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
* Expected to work All Home Athletic Events.
* Might have optional travel.
* Preferred experience in intercollegiate athletics, media relations/sports information.
* Experience with Adobe CC.
* Experience in writing/editing and strong written/oral communication skills.
Benefits
A stipend and tuition waiver in the amount of 18 credit hours is provided for the academic year. The tuition waiver can be applied to fall, spring, and summer I semesters.
Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate must be accepted into the Minot State University Graduate School and pass a background check. Bachelor's Degree required.
