We are seeking an experienced GDK Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in documenting GDKs, APIs, and other developer-focused documentation. The candidate should possess excellent technical writing skills and a strong understanding of software development concepts. Experience with a static site generator, particularly DocFX, is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with multimedia content creation is a plus.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical specifications
  • Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for GDKs, APIs, and related developer-focused content
  • Develop installation guides, setup instructions, and usage documentation for GDK libraries
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent with industry standards
  • Organize and present complex technical information in an easily understandable format
  • Work closely with the development team to gain hands-on experience with the GDKs and their functionality
  • Conduct thorough research to stay updated on the latest GDK features, best practices, and industry trends
  • Edit, proofread, and review documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and clarity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and improve documentation based on user needs and requirements
  • Explore the use of multimedia content, such as videos and interactive tutorials, to enhance the effectiveness of the documentation
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Technical Communication) or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a technical writer, preferably in documenting SDKs, APIs, or developer-focused documentation
  • Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and SDKs, preferably .NET and Typescript based libraries
  • Experience with a static site generator, such as DocFX, is preferred
  • Familiarity with multimedia content creation (videos, tutorials) is a plus
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard documentation tools and platforms
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Pay Range
$76,158 - $141,437 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
