About the Role
The Director of Digital Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving The Pack Labs’ growth and scaling our online presence. This is a leadership position with a hands-on approach, where you’ll oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including paid media, email marketing, SEO, PR, and customer retention. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Meta Ads, particularly in the restricted product space, and will thrive in a strategic yet executional role. You’ll work closely with the CEO and marketing team to craft and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives measurable growth. This position is fully remote, with occasional travel to Los Angeles, CA as needed. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy across all digital channels, focusing on paid media, customer retention, email marketing, and SEO. Build, mentor, lead, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Oversee advertising campaigns on platforms like Meta and Google, ensuring they are scalable, profitable, and compliant with platform requirements. Analyze campaign data and website performance to optimize ROI, conversion rates, and the overall user experience. Design and implement email flows, segmentation strategies, and retention campaigns to drive customer loyalty and repeat purchases. Enhance organic visibility by developing and executing SEO initiatives, optimizing content, and improving site performance. Strengthen brand awareness and credibility through press outreach, media relations, and strategic partnerships. What You Bring At least five years of experience in digital marketing leadership with a proven record of scaling CPG brands through paid and organic strategies. A minimum of three years of experience building and managing high-performing teams. Expert knowledge of paid media platforms such as Meta Ads and Google, alongside expertise in email marketing, SEO, and Meta Restricted Product Categories. Strong analytical skills with the ability to take a data-driven approach to optimize marketing performance. Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills. A hands-on attitude, with a willingness to execute strategies while also leading the team. Familiarity with marketing in the hemp-derived cannabinoid or similar industries is a strong plus.
