About the Team:

A powerhouse group of graphic designers, photo editors and copywriters, our Creative team brings Rothy's to life through rich, relevant storytelling-both visually and in words. As part of the Marketing organization, our Creatives work closely with Digital Commerce, Brand Strategy, PR and more teams to tell our brand story-and to deliver the right message on the right platforms.

About the role:

Applying high taste level and experience, the Senior Visual Manager will be responsible for the look and feel of how Rothy's is experienced and discovered in all physical settings. The Senior Visual Manager will own and collaborate with cross functional partners to execute on concept, design and tactile brand moments in retail, window displays, pop-ups, wholesale, collaborations and partnerships.

The Senior Visual Manager will partner closely with Retail and, when necessary, external architects and agencies, to ensure the brand vision is successfully met by the consumer. This role reports into the Head of Creative and sits within the marketing team.

What you'll do:
  • Ensures expression of Rothy's touchpoints in retail or physical spaces are in line with brand guidelines inclusive of retail stores, pop-ups, events, wholesale, showrooms, concessions, brand-partnerships and collaborations
  • Design and oversee all window display and in-store marketing displays from concept to procurement ensuring adaptation to all stores, owning entire output of display in stores
  • Partner with cross functional teams in whatever capacity is necessary i.e. retail, product, commercial planning and amplification) to remain aligned to brand initiatives for seasonal launches, new product launches, and window assortments
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising team helping to bring collection stories to life and stay aligned on product focus, plans and new launches
  • Partner with Head of Creative on store design elements from concept development to design, work with cross functional partners to meet budget, procurement needs and space utilization
  • Design new retail fixtures as business needs and assortments grow and evolve
  • Collaboration and refining New Store Opening Deck in partnership with Retail team to ensure consistency of new store concepts; oversight of brand implementation in all new stores and ongoing updates in existing stores
  • Work closely with procurement on all window display and propping orders
  • Provide input relating to marketing creative such as photography, set design, props
  • Ensure cohesion between retail experience and editorial experience
  • Innovate on development of materials to bring to life in new ways for brand experience

You have:
  • High-end, editorial design aesthetic, with great attention to detail
  • 5-10 years of experience in retail and/or Visual Merchandising
  • Understanding of photo art direction and fabrication
  • Strong understanding of how people shop in retail and how cross-channel and social platforms integrate with ecommerce websites
  • Knowledge of market awareness and trends within retail, interior design, art and fashion, sustainability, and culture to push the brand while maintaining relevance
