If you have read the book "How to Build a Story Brand," you have the blueprint for what success looks like in this position.

Do you want to join a purpose-driven culture where you can be your authentic self and be part of a team of lifelong learners and high performers? Are passion, impact and courage core values that resonate with you? Do you embrace Solarity's vision of changing banking by putting members at the center of our universe? Join our team and become a Solarian! We provide training, career advancement and growth opportunities. We have highly motivated, passionate co-workers who are committed to your success and a strong, inclusive company culture that loves it when you speak your mind.

Your purpose - As a Content Specialist for our team, you are a key stakeholder in the development of content. You'll use a variety of mediums, channels and tactics including storytelling, member testimonials, blogs, video, email, website, social media and digital advertising. In this role, you will source member stories, conduct interviews and produce the finished product. You will seek to create a competitive advantage that helps drive engagement, sales leads and revenue. At Solarity, member obsession is at our core. We make business decisions and marketing decisions based on member needs, even the needs they don't know they have! You, as our Content Specialist, drive forward a very special piece to this puzzle.

The Cultural Fit

If the following Core Values resonate with who you are in your life, this might be the perfect fit for you:

  • Courage: Having the fortitude to remain accountable, speaking with candor and directness while maintaining the self-esteem of teammates and having the confidence to make decisions based on good judgment.
  • Impact: Pursuing meaningful results to make a positive difference, not satisfied with the status quo and striving to constantly exceed the expectations of members and coworkers.
  • Passion: Having a member-obsessed mindset, bringing energy and focus to all aspects of your job, interested in celebrating the wins of others and constantly embracing organizational initiatives and change!

A Day in the life of a Content Specialist

  • At 8 am, you log in to your Solarity laptop and review feedback received last week from Google Reviews, member surveys and branch interactions. You identify several members you want to call to learn more. They could be great prospects for a member story!
  • You sip a cup of coffee and brainstorm blog post headlines to pitch to the team in preparation for the Marketing huddle at 9 am.
  • The team's discussion of a new product launch places a few deliverables on your plate: landing page content for the website; staff talking points about the new product; a script for an explainer video and a sprinkling of social media posts.
  • You login to Salesforce Marketing Cloud and draft two emails that will be used for an A/B test of subject lines and compelling calls to action.
  • After lunch you ponder two themes you will propose to the team for your content plan for next month. You write an SEO article for the member newsletter and website and confirm the video interview you have scheduled with a member who agreed to tell their story about financing their RV with Solarity.
  • In the afternoon, you make 10 calls to members to learn more about their positive experiences and invite them to record a video interview for use on social media and the website. Two members have really compelling stories, and you're excited to delve deeper during your interview. You start drafting the questions you want to ask to get them to open up about how Solarity made a difference in their lives.
  • It was a good day. You are looking forward to directing the video shoot for the member interview next week. You log off and realize Monday is a federal holiday; it'll be a three-day weekend!

Want to find out what's on your calendar for the next day? Apply for this position and let's talk about it.
