If you're passionate about graphic design, illustration, animation, or similar design fields, apply to be our next Multimedia Design Fellow! You will learn how to translate artistic vision into various multimedia assets. Through hands-on experience, you will collaborate with many departments across the organization. And as an emerging arts leader, you'll gain the skills and insight to inspire, educate, and empower audiences, making the arts an essential part of their lives.
Specifically, you can expect to learn how to: Arena Stage will provide the fellow with opportunities to develop skills in all areas of theater graphic design, including:
- Design a range of print and digital marketing materials and other collateral
- Support multiple photo and multimedia projects, from storyboarding to editing and production
- Provide design support special projects, including but not limited to space design and installation
- Collate and archive existing and new visual and multimedia assets
- Support and staff pre-production photo and video shoots
- Participate in the planning and implementation of integrated marketing strategies to build and diversify Arena's audience
A successful Multimedia Design Fellow will be curious, an outstanding communicator, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently, as well as willing to provide administrative support and roll up their proverbial sleeves as needed. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites is required. Experience with HTML, photography, and/or videography is helpful.
Additional expectations: Occasionally, some evening and weekend hours will be required for special events
