Sr. Product Manager - Cost Out, Fashion & Fitness
As a Senior Product Manager for Cost Out Initiatives in Fashion and Fitness, you will play a strategic role working cross-functionally to drive results, generating savings, influence technical priorities, and define a roadmap for cost out across Retail and FBA. The Senior Product Manager will serve as the single-threaded owner, responsible for end-to-end ownership of overall program strategy and driving operational improvements of key metrics including cost to serve. This exciting role is within the US F2 team, offering a unique opportunity to Dive Deep, Invent and Simplify and Think Big to make a significant impact across product families.
Key job responsibilities:
- Develop annual cost savings goals and consistently achieve annual targets through strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with partner teams (finance, returns and recommence, supply chain, business intelligence) to influence technical, product, and strategic priorities. This includes shaping product roadmaps, introducing new features, driving automation, and creating innovative operational models.
- Establish scalable mechanisms for tracking and optimizing key metrics around Cost to Serve to measure program success.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to address operational defects and develop scalable solutions.
A day in the life:
- Assess monthly performance metrics, taking action to bridge results and rectify operational defects through strategic or tactical initiatives.
- Engage in weekly meetings with partner teams, actively tracking results and collaborating to identify growth areas and resolve emerging issues.
- Collaborate with partner teams to identify and introduce new features and initiate pilot programs.
- Identify operational issues and create mechanisms for resolving recurring challenges, leveraging automation wherever possible.
- Provide insightful root cause analysis for key input metrics to leadership and partner teams.
- Contribute to strategic documents and presentations, including Monthly Financial Review, Quarterly Business Review, and Operating Planning.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience as a product manager or owner.
- Experience owning technology products.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
