Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities What We're Looking For: Iridium is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer that understands the importance of creating modern, engaging marketing pieces to reflect our distinctive satellite technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to visually compelling campaigns that showcase the power of our global satellite network; collaborating with cross-functional teams to design marketing materials, social media graphics, digital advertising, and video content that elevate the brand. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for design, strong attention to detail, and a desire to grow their skills in a fast-paced, innovative industry. What You'll Do: Design and Branding: Design high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, datasheets, tradeshow displays, and presentations. Create engaging graphics for digital advertisements, email campaigns and website content. Create graphic-based campaigns to elevate the markets we operate in - Aviation, Government, Internet of Things (IoT), Land Mobile, Maritime and PNT Develop and maintain a suite of brand-compliant collateral templates to ensure consistency across all channels. Support the development of product packaging for end-user devices and developer kits Social Media Content Creation: Design and edit graphics, animations, and infographics for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook). Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute visually engaging campaigns aligned with Iridium's messaging. Video Editing and Multimedia: Use a wide range of multimedia, including photography, video and computer aided illustrations for persuasive visual storytelling Edit and produce marketing videos, including product demos, thought leadership interviews, event recaps, and customer success stories. Enhance video content with motion graphics, text overlays, and other dynamic elements. Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with internal teams to understand project goals, requirements, and timelines. Revise designs based on team feedback and maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines. Creative Development: Contribute to brainstorming sessions to generate innovative design ideas that align with Iridium's mission. Balance our corporate brand standards while displaying a degree of creativity and showcasing our brand personality. Assist in refining and evolving the Iridium brand to keep it fresh and relevant in the market. Experience & Education Requirements / EEO What You'll Need to Succeed: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Advertising or similar field Passionate about design, with 2+ years of relevant graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate environment Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint with an excellent sense of aesthetic, clean presentation design Skilled at balancing brand standards while also displaying a degree of creativity and showcasing our brand personality Attention for quality and detail, coupled with the ability to multi-task. You check your work twice ensuring that no aspect has gone unnoticed Visual problem solver that's skilled in adapting to changing circumstances in a busy environment Ability to decode technical information and transform it into eye-catching, easy-to-comprehend graphics Strong desire to stay up-to-date with current design trends and technology - constantly looking for ways to improve and push designs and solutions forward Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information and ideas to others Have confidence and be able to easily build meaningful relationships with your manager and members of your team Must be able to prioritize your tasks, be self-aware enough to identify and correct mistakes, and not be afraid to ask for help when needed Be active in seeking out ways to improve yourself and gain new knowledge, and be enthusiastic in sharing knowledge with others Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table: Knowledge of marketing communications within a business-to-business communications industry Previous experience in the aerospace or telecommunications industries We love video content, so Premiere and After Effects are a plus! Work Environment: This position works in the company office at least 3 days a week.The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer. For meetings in-person, this position will need to be able to navigate within the office.
