Overview: The Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating content, analyzing results from marketing initiatives, and providing support for credit union events and sponsorships. Must be able to work on multiple assignments concurrently and deliver ideas and recommendations based on company objectives and project strategies. Work collaboratively with internal and external resources to help implement a wide range of projects across multiple media and distribution channels.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate message integration consistent with MCU’s brand strategy across all marketing channels, including website, email, social media, Digital Banking application, and retail locations.
• Develop and execute performance marketing strategies
• Manage marketing platforms such as Google, Birdseye, and Salesforce while providing support as needed within Hubspot.
• Manage Google tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and ensure comprehensive campaign tracking.
• Analyze data to identify trends, and implement optimizations to improve campaign performance, and enhance website performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, driving innovation and new ideas to help propel the business forward.
• Support and attend on premise events, marketing team meetings, and webinars.
• Edit and proofread copy as needed.
• Perform other marketing related duties, and special projects as requested.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics, communications, computer science or related field.
• Experience in marketing, advertising, or similar roles, with a strong understanding of the online advertising space. Financial services experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as marketing automation technologies and platforms such as Google Analytics/Salesforce/HubSpot.
• Working knowledge of SEM, and SEO techniques and tools, with a strong understanding of Google algorithms and ranking factors.
• Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager and its functionalities.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop and expand skills into new growth areas, mastering analytical techniques to enhance performance.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with strong ownership of responsibilities, able to perform in a high-volume, dynamic environments and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, proofreading, copywriting and copy-editing abilities

Salary: $66,640 to $83,300
