Job Description: This job is responsible for monitoring risk and reporting related to business intelligence for the bank and financial industry-related topics, trends and insights in social and traditional media that impact our brand and business. Key responsibilities include delivering actionable business insights from massive amounts of unstructured data, developing and continually evolving unique data capture models and structures and analysis of findings to provide actionable information. Job expectations include supporting research led by Senior Analysts. Responsibilities: • Monitors key themes, trends and emerging topics from social media research • Researches and escalates business intelligence and risk related topics to issue owners • Works with business partners across the enterprise to understand business issues and priorities • Prepares deep-dive analysis of discussion around topics, products and business lines • Recognizes and identifies inconsistencies or inaccuracies in tools, data, analytics • Produces metrics from tools, and exports data when necessary to create additional visualizations of data • Connects key insights to business outcomes during the analytic process Skills: Risk Management Attention to Detail Business Analytics Data Mining Prioritization Data Visualization Data and Trend Analysis Quality Assurance Reporting Adaptability Business Acumen Business Intelligence Collaboration Written Communications Required Qualifications: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using social media monitoring software platforms Understanding of the macro social media environment and industry Experience with data verification, quality control and analytics Attention to detail and ability to analyze data at a tactical quantitative and strategic qualitative level Ability to synthesize data into meaningful business insights and present to internal audiences Ability to construct complex queries using Boolean logic to maximize results in different tools Ability to work closely with internal business partners to explain the impact of data and findings Ability to handle multiple types of reports with tight deadlines and large amounts of data Microsoft Office productivity tools and ability to produce professional quality level reports and presentations Research background and experience with a brand, agency or vendor Analytic experience must include the analysis of language/semantics and images Desired Qualifications: Financial services industry background Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
