We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. This person will work with agile scrum teams to support front-end user interface design for various applications, including cloud solutions. The role will focus on designing component-based interfaces that emphasize the use of reusable components and style guides to ensure consistency across all products. You will also document requirements and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate product functionality against business objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed UI mockups, workflow diagrams, and prototypes using component-based design principles to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides that promote the reuse of components across different platforms and applications.
- Develop training content for website features, including instructional videos and user manuals.
- Write and manage website content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into clear, functional designs.
- Document comprehensive functional and technical requirements to guide the development process.
- Draft and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans to validate the final product against business and functional requirements.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless implementation of designs and that final products meet specifications.
- Develop visually appealing, intuitive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and meet accessibility standards (Section 508).
- Continuously iterate and refine designs based on feedback from cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Communicate design concepts effectively and advocate for component reusability and design system consistency across projects.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, design system best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio highlighting UI mockups, workflow designs, and functional documentation.
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Experience in building component-based UI design systems and reusable components.
- Strong understanding of user interface design principles, style guide development, and best practices.
- Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to create consistent and visually cohesive designs across different platforms.
- Understanding of Section 508 UI accessibility standards.
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Experience in medical/clinical research domain.
- Experience in cross-browser testing.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
