Insight Global is looking for a Media Traffic Technology Manager to join a major Media and Entertainment client in NYC. This individual will troubleshoot live production transmission systems for contribution remote feeds onsite. This individual will partner with MTC, field operations, IT teams, and other maintenance teams, both within and outside the organization for fast issue resolution and work well in a fast-paced live broadcasting environment. This individual will manage system/workflow/process for Media Traffic Control, updating SOPs as technology-driven workflows continue to evolve and act as project manager and oversee contribution systems installations and upgrades as needed. This individual will manage vendors to ensure problem determination and resolution with hardware and software, produce and help organize documentation related to system overview, configuration, policies, and procedures, and provide Level 2 and Level 3 troubleshooting. This role will sit hybrid in Midtown Manhattan, and must be flexible to cover shift 1 (6am-4pm) or shift 2 (2pm-12am).

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years experience troublehsooting live transmisstion and encoding/ decoding systems, compression technologies and applications within an enterprise level environment
Strong experience with live compression IP transport systems and protocols (UDP, RTP, SRT, RIST, Zixi) as well as various error correction technologies and applications.
Conceptual knowledge of TCP/IP, Cisco network infrastructure, routing techniques & IP Security concepts. CCNA Level Experience a plus.
Experience with haivision makito, LiveU, Live satellite transmission
Experience with Windows and Linux operating system from a basic support standpoint.
Strong understanding of satellite RF systems, signal flow and video routing.
Strong communication skills to troubleshoot quickly, and provide status updates to the business, stakeholders, and vendors.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with basic level coding (HTML, XML, C#, RESTAPI)
Previous experience working in Broadcasting TV Mobile Truck to troubleshoot live events
A+ Level certification a plus.
