We’re looking to hire an Industrial Designer (Contract) for an American consumer health and beauty company. Experience as an Industrial Designer, Packaging Designer, Product Designer is required,

You’ll join the Creative Design Team to conceptualization, design, and execute physical packaging projects from inception to production.

• This is a 12 month opportunity with the opportunity to extend and/or convert.
• 40 hours per week.
• The role is located in Skillman, NJ (Montgomery Township) and is hybrid onsite.
• Hourly Rate: $60hr.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the conceptualization, design, and execution of physical packaging projects from inception to production.
• Collaborate with the Design Manager to lead the breakthrough beauty packaging design execution.
• You will design and execute end-to-end manufacturing for personal care and consumer packaged goods; bottles, closures, cartons, retail and e-commerce distribution and design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Product Design.
• Experience working with consumer brands, particularly in industries such as electronics, cosmetics, or consumer goods.
• 5 + years experience with a strong portfolio of innovative and functional user experiences.
• Fluency in SolidWorks and or other similar parametric surface modeling software.
• Proficiency in Keyshot and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with 3D printing technologies like FDM and SLA.
