Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Content Strategist to join their team! This position is located in Bernards, New Jersey.

Duties:

• Partner with internal functions to create communications plans that ensure strategic information is delivered in a timely and effective manner
• Create feature articles, videos, and content that motivate employees to engage in their HR programs
• Develop compelling press releases, articles, and social media content to engage external audiences and the media
• Develop effective communications that clearly convey Verizon’s mission, actions, values, culture, and strategy to support key business priorities
• Plan, produce, and edit content for a variety of media including email announcements, presentations, events, leader messages, social media posts, and videos
• Proofread and edit content, ensuring achievement of high editorial standards and alignment with our brand voice
• Partner with the Corporate Communications Shared Services team on design, development, and message distribution
• Coordinate the distribution of communications through a variety of channels
• Assist in tracking and measuring the effectiveness of communications

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Project management experience
• Substantial experience creating employee-centric HR-related communications materials
• Strong copyediting and proofreading skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to support multiple projects and clients and work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
• Experience managing corporate change programs
• Experience in public relations, marketing and social media
• Creative design skills
• Ability to learn and understand systems
• Computer-savvy with experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office software and tools
• Experience in managing CRM/mass email systems
