Job Title: Graphic Technologist

Hybrid - 3 days onsite New York, NY 2 days remote

Pay: $32-$37/hour depending on experience

About the Role:

An industry-leading fashion brand is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Technologist to join their Graphics Department. In this role, you’ll work closely with the technical team to execute design intent by collaborating with overseas factories, tracking project timelines, and ensuring on-time delivery for milestone meetings. This is an individual contributor role with an opportunity to play a key part in bringing designs to life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Textile Technologists in all aspects of fabric and color development for garments and components.
• Create detailed spec packs for graphic development.
• Partner with overseas vendors to execute graphic designs and ensure accurate submissions.
• Track product readiness and communicate deadlines to cross-functional partners.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of strike-offs and graphic approvals.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with factories as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with graphic techniques and apparel graphics development.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple product seasons simultaneously.
• Experience detailing graphics for production in a factory setting.

Skills:

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and upbeat attitude.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Curiosity and eagerness to support cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product/Graphic Design, Textile Science, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in textiles or graphic design, preferably within the fashion industry.
• Apparel graphic and product development experience strongly preferred.
