We are Careismatic Brands Inc., the global leader in medical apparel, footwear, and accessories. We have an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Designer to be responsible for assisting in all phases of line development.

This is a full-time role based in our corporate office in East Rutherford, NJ.

Salary Range: $50,000.00-$55,000.00

What Your Day Looks Like

• Responsible for assisting all phases of line development.
• Assist market research in design and trends and be able to create Trend Boards or each season trends.
• Communicate daily with oversea to follow up with all developments.
• Coordinate information between design, tech design, production and marketing teams.
• Attend all fittings and update tech packs/communicate style changes.
• Work pro-actively according to the Production Development calendar to stay ahead of timeline
• Responsible for Design related Administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design
• Strong fashion and creative senses, keen trend awareness
• Proficient in Outlook, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel & Word
• Basic knowledge of garment construction
• Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
• Work efficiently and effectively with Head Designer
