24 Seven Talent is hiring: Jr. Graphic Designer in Portland

24 Seven is partnering with a well-known CPG brand based in Portland, OR to help them find a Jr. Graphic Designer to join their team in this onsite contract position. This position would begin at 3 days a week, M/T/Th, at the office, 8am to 5pm, and ramp up to 5 days/week after 3-6 weeks.

Ideal Candidate: will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years design experience with fashion/print/trend driven design projects. Must also be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled Jr. Graphic Designer with experience in layout, web design and fashion/print/trend for a new role. This designer’s primary focus will be on print and color work, researching trends and recommending the right options to diverse clients.

Responsibilities/skills:

• Use market research to identify seasonal trends within silhouettes, print and color.

• Create trend, print and design concepts under strict deadlines

• Create and maintain renders of product and create sales and marketing collateral for both print and web.

• Creation of textile prints – ability to use adobe illustrator/photoshop to make prints.

• Work with sales and screen printer to create approval mockups and film for imprints for placement on various products.

• Expert of Adobe Creative Cloud

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Graphic Design or similar

• Experience with fashion/print/trend driven design projects: 2 years

• Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

• Experience in navigating and understand fashion trend research to create seasonal trends and product lines.

• Ability to create and produce textile prints and film positives for screen printing.

• Ability to create renders to clearly communicate how the product should look.

• Ability to create sales presentations and marketing collateral for both print and web

• A strong understanding of color spaces, printing and pantone color systems

• Capacity to understand product and consumer journey

• Experience using project management software to manage resources and deadlines
