The Boise Public Library is seeking an experienced librarian with stellar leadership skills for a position with the Information Services team of community-serving superheroes This role: + Conducts advanced-level librarian duties, including customer service, program development, outreach, community engagement, and training and direction to library users and staff members. + Collaborates with patrons and colleagues to facilitate access to diverse information resources. + May be required to work at various locations in the library system. + This position works under the general direction of the Library Information Services Manager. Essential Functions Performs all duties of lower-level librarian positions. Performs highly complex and specialized tasks. Spearheads the development, conceptualization and execution of library programs, community events and public instruction workshops.
