Description

Do you live and breathe community engagement? Are you a Librarian in need of a more flexible work schedule? We are hiring a part-time Librarian full of creativity and passion for Public Libraries who will focus on Teen Services .
With a detail-oriented mindset, you will create thoughtful programming and promotional material. You lead the charge behind-the-scenes and front-and-center - as an expert in reference work, and a pro in conducting library tours and orientation programs.
This role is 0.5 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) (20 hours/week) and eligible for pro-rated City benefits excluding Pension and Life insurance.
West Allis residents, please note: Add an additional 5% to the hourly pay rates.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:

Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited library school; recent professional paid work experience as a Librarian or Library Assistant highly desirable.
