United Community is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Marketing and Communications team, helping to drive the bank's growth initiatives through strategic marketing efforts. You will manage and execute marketing projects, support in-branch marketing requests, and collaborate with various departments and external partners.
What You'll Do:
- Implement strategic marketing plans and monitor their progress.
- Manage campaign development and execution from start to finish.
- Communicate and execute marketing plans for assigned projects.
- Develop schedules, outline tasks, maintain deadlines, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Ensure marketing projects align with budgets and timelines.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional team meetings.
- Collaborate with the creative team to generate and proof content.
- Manage marketing vendor relationships.
- Maintain branded material requests and inventory.
- Assist with sales and marketing duties as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing/project management or as an account executive.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred.
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
- Experience running cross-functional projects with large teams
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and sound judgment.
- Some travel required.
- Participation in required regulatory and compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.
- This is a full-time, non-remote position.
