Job Summary
Early College Academy (ECA) is seeking to fill the Marketing Assistant role. In this job, you will assist the ECA team in planning, executing, and maintaining key campaigns, content, promotions, and relevant marketing strategies. This position looks to engage key stakeholders on and off-campus through creative and innovative marketing techniques and approaches.

Essential Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist with and support the launch of social media platforms
- Independently and collaboratively aid in the development of strategies, campaigns, and content on a regular basis with supervision and support as desired.
- Review and update print materials, promotions, packaging, and other digital and physical projects as needed.
- Review and track analytics and data
- Recommend improvements to target areas and goals
- Collaborate and brainstorm with students, faculty, staff and partnerships to develop content while increasing and expanding brand awareness.
- Research best practices and emerging social media trends.
- Participate in various events and tabling opportunities as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The desired student should have knowledge and experience in marketing, professional communications, graphic design or similar fields.
- Strong understanding of social media tools and platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms).
- Knowledge in Graphic Design programs (Adobe Suites, Canva, Photo Shop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and other relevant programs
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Organized with high attention to detail; ability to independently and collaboratively handle multiple projects with oversight and support as needed
- Understanding of basic principles of marketing and communications
- Creativity and initiative to follow through on projects to meet set, predetermined deadlines
- Knowledge and experience with social media analytics and tracking
