We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

Job Summary:
Provide planning, analysis, coordination, support, and maintain the district's web infrastructure and web technologies to include the development of features and enhancements to existing applications.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain the district's web servers that are hosted on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Research and implement new web tools and technologies.
  • Administer, maintain, and support district web solutions including the college's main web presence, the district portal, and content management system. Will serve as a backup for additional web solutions such as the learning management system, syllabi repository, messaging system and the course archive system.
  • Perform updates, review, and maintain the main college's web presence for quality assurance and accessibility as related to ADA compliance. Work within the content management system to program new template designs, add functionality, and improve the technical aspects of the web presence such as modifying search criteria and results, metadata, keywords, and accessibility. Assist in reviewing data analytics and making recommendations based on the data and user feedback.
  • Work in conjunction with technology services and functional area staff on the web portal's continuous improvement plan by developing new roles, researching the roles, and working with departments to create role-based content. Maintain a plan and calendar to ensure portal content is current and kept fresh to promote engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the technology team to create and automate requests and streamline processes by programming scripts or utilizing API services. Work to support faculty, staff, and students by reviewing tickets and resolving issues, working with the team, and collaborating with other departments until a successful resolution is implemented.
  • Plan, implement enhancements and work collaboratively with other departments to train and ensure information is communicated and available.
  • Work collaboratively with technology staff, communications staff, and editors to support and implement new web technologies. Identify and manage relationships with areas involved in web technologies.
  • Recommend and assist in ensuring compliance with guidelines, policies, and procedures, both local and federal, relating to the web presence.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.

Required
Associate degree in a related field from an accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience.

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

Compensation is determined based on experience.
