We help people who need tires or car repairs. People who have a broken car or bad tire need help and this is a perfect time to show how you care for those in need. Customers love their cars for the access to freedom, the ability to go where they want when they want without waiting or coordinating. Some spend a lot of time working and traveling in their cars - for fun, vacation, jobs, and just sightseeing. In the Hudson Valley NY area we have so many beautiful things to see from historic homes, gardens, the rail trail, Hudson River, and great food! You job will be to help these people and coordinate and expedite their repairs. Its fun and when you show caring its rewarding to help people who frequently come in nearly in tears that ol' Betsy is not feeling right! :)

Job Summary
We are looking for a high-performing person to join our successful business. If you have a proven track record of Customer experience and fantastic communication skills, we want to hear from you. As an Automotive Service and Tire Expert Representative, you will grow our customer base by identifying potential customers, keeping in touch with existing customers, and making sure that everyone has a positive service and tire experience. You will greet guests and build rapport, answer questions about vehicles, and facilitate information gathering. Mentorship programs, ongoing education, and even competitive bonuses are available to our representatives. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills, hospitality and people skills. This is a great opportunity to learn about managing as well. The automotive career is strong and cars simply never cease to keep needing worn things fixed - you will learn a lot with us and experience so much knowledge your family and friends will be impressed! This type of first hand experience will help you know more than your competition and give you a leg up in the industry.
Responsibilities
• Greet customers as they arrive with respect, a smile and professionalism
• Create a professional environment that builds rapport and puts customers at ease
• Answer customer questions about their needs, vehicle service process, and the goals they have for their car
• Advise customers on the ways they may want to solve their problems that meets their objective
• Use CRM software to maintain a customer database you will use to drive repeat business and marketing policies
• Conduct discussions and obtain customers comments to detail the primary issues they are concerned with
• Use skills to complete the process while maintaining a high level of customer connection and care
• maximize production and develop jobs for your crew of technicians to keep the customers happy
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• Prior Customer service experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage time and serve customers with little supervision but good friendly collaboration with all team members
• Typing writing and listening skills - we will teach you our software systems on the job but former POS experience is a plus
