Additionally, since 2015, it has been designing and manufacturing its platform for audiovisual system monitoring and management

Job Description

  • Engage in client discovery sessions alongside sales, design, and engineering team
  • Participate in project design meetings with clients, perform site surveys, create assessment reports
  • Analyze user needs and requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
  • Create AV and Control design packages composed of concept block diagrams, system CAD drawings, design narratives, programming specifications, performance specifications, and budget estimates for every phase of the projects (Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents)
  • Communicate and coordinate technical design solutions with clients, installation teams, and creative teams
  • Assist with technical oversight, network implementation, system configuration, red lines, as-built drawings, commissioning procedures, and design questions during integration and commissioning of systems
  • Assist programmers with technical direction when developing user interfaces and control programs
  • Assist account executives in the preparation of consultant specified bids and submittals
Qualifications

  • Advanced Control Systems Programming and Operation (especially Node-RED and scripting environments, as well as Q-SYS, Medialon, Alcorn McBride, etc.)
  • Proficient scripting abilities (e.g., Lua, JavaScript, Node.JS, SQL, etc.)
  • Video and Presentation Systems Programming and Operation (Pixera, 7th Sense, RealMotion, PIXILAB, Disguise, Touch Designer, Green Hippo, etc.)
  • Video processing and layering systems such as Aquilon, Barco E2, and Christie Spider
  • Large matrices such as Ross Ultrix, Grass Valley Sirius, and Evertz EQX
  • Large LED canvases and projection systems
  • IP video signal distribution protocols such as ST 2110, IPMX, SDVoE, and NDI
  • Networking Management, Configuration, Deployment, and Operation including VLANs, routing, QoS,
  • IGMP, PTP (certification a plus)
  • Q-SYS Audio & Control (certification preferred)
  • A/V systems, equipment, concepts, and technologies
  • User Interface development including some HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Office365 suite including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel

Training / Education

  • 2 to 5 years of work experience within the Audio/Visual or Software Development industries
  • Experience scripting, developing software solutions, or building user interfaces that communicate with other systems, manipulate data, or leverage database back-ends
  • Demonstrated experience with electronic control systems and signal processing; familiarity with relays and Programmable Logic Controllers is a plus
  • Experience configuring and deploying video signal infrastructure and head-end systems
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Degree in one of the following areas of study is preferred:
    • Computer Science/Engineering
    • Computer Programming
    • Electronics Engineering
    • Entertainment Technology/Theatre
    • Video Production

Working Conditions

  • Travel is to be expected on average 50% of the time due to the nature of the projects.
  • Onsite environment will vary for each project. Employee may be asked to wear protective gear on building sites.
  • Office environment at company premises.
