The role of the Videographer Intern is to become the visual storyteller for RoofCrafters. As a Part-Time Paid Videographer Intern, you'll play a vital role in helping us tell our story, share our mission, and educate our audience through engaging video content. Responsibilities are subject to change without notice in accordance with company needs. Compensation is $15/hr., 10 hours per week.

- Coordinate filming schedules with our estimators.
- Film professional-quality videos that align with our brand, mission, and goals.
- Exercise creative freedom to try new ideas and bring fresh perspectives to our content.
- Produce diverse content types, including:
- B-roll footage.
- Short-form videos for social media.
- Long-form videos for our website and YouTube.
- Estimator biography videos, answers to common questions, educational content, and walkthroughs of website tools and services.
- Collaborate with our video editor to ensure a cohesive and engaging final product.
- Upload footage to share content with the editor for post-production.
- Participate in one weekly meeting and one bi-weekly meeting to review progress, gather feedback, and strategize upcoming projects.
Technical Qualifications
- Skilled in storyboarding, scripting, and concept development.
- Strong understanding of basic and advanced composition techniques.
- Knowledge of branding principles and their application in video production.
- Ability to identify quality issues in audio and video.
- Proficient in interviewing and drawing the best from on-camera talent.

- Access to a reliable vehicle for travel to filming locations.
- Approximately 10 hours per week, including travel and filming.
- Provided Equipment: Sony Video camera, Rode microphone, barndoor shades, light kit, SD card and converter, camera bag.
