Ledgent Technology is hiring: CAD Designer in Orlando

Large Amusement Park is looking for a CAD Designer for a 12+ mo contract role in Orlando, FL!

Location: Orlando FL

Pay Rate: 42-48/hour W2

12 month Contract role

Responsibilities:

• Participate in scope to conceive, design, & deliver a wide variety of complex & innovative ride systems and related equipment ensuring durability, reliability, and safety.
• "Clean sheet" concept design of ride systems and subsystems that meet creative intent and stakeholder requirements.
• Responsible for digital model and drawing, development & release.
• Participate in large scale proof of concept prototype & mockups efforts; design/fab/test.
• Contribute to high value, unique solutions to complex design challenges.
• Participate in all aspects of ride mechanical installation, field support, and testing.
• Perform field installation/testing activities including equipment/site surveys, use of active fall protection equipment, navigating construction site with catwalks, ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and confined spaces.

Basic Qualifications:

3 years minimum Solidworks and Autocad.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior amusement park experience is a plus!

Required Education:

BA or BS degree OR equivalent work experience.
