Appointment Setter/Event Planner
Scranton Financial Group, a small, growth-oriented, successful and well-established Financial Services Firm in Westbrook, CT, seeks an outgoing and self-motivated Relationship Manager/Scheduler (Appointment Setter) to join our growing team.
This is a full time, in-office position. No remote or hybrid scheduling.

Job Summary
Responsible for identifying and reaching out to prospective clients on the phone and scheduling appointments for the sales reps, either in person or via telephone.
Responsibilities
· Ensure each prospective client has a positive experience.
· Coordinate, plan, and attend seminars, workshops, and referral events.
· Perform post-event follow-up activities with attendees and schedule appointments.
· Encourage referrals through client interaction.
· Manage all inbound and outbound call volume, with the goal of setting appointments for advisors. Field incoming phone calls and adapt 50% or more into appointments.
· Master and carry-out prospecting phone calls for 60-70% of the day. Eagerly explain services to potential clients when making appointments.
· Make daily appointment confirmation calls to prospective clients.
· Track, assess and report the status of events and call metrics each day.
· Manage and coordinate internal advisors’ calendars with prospective clients. Evaluate which appointments take priority over others to maximize revenue.
· Ensure prospective client information is entered into the CRM program.
· Track and work closely with the sales representative on ongoing new business.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements
· Appointment Setter/Scheduler experience preferred.
· Sales and customer service experience a plus.
· High school diploma required, some college a plus.
· Able to travel overnight several times per month for seminars.
· Excellent time management and organization skills required.
· Top-notch verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Excellent phone etiquette.
· Professional and courteous while persuasive and results oriented.
· Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.
· Familiar with travel/event coordination, supply management and equipment maintenance.
· Comfortable working independently with little supervision.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Proficient with multiple calendar management.
· Capable of multitasking while maintaining a positive attitude.
· Must be able to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
