Position Title: Graphic Designer/Content Creator

POSITION PURPOSE
The Graphic Designer/Content Creator will primarily assist with marketing activities, including design projects, maintaining the agency's website, social media, e-communications, and capturing photos and videos of mentor/mentee interviews and agency special events. Help with staffing booths, tables, and other outreach activities as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create graphic design projects such as flyers, event materials, recruitment/enrollment materials and digital/print advertisements for internal and external communication pieces. Create and order branded materials such as apparel and SWAG. Create, review, and edit content for the agency to be published on the agency's websites and social media pages. Work with Marketing, Recruitment, and Development teams to develop and implement robust yearly marketing, events, and recruitment plans. Capture content at agency activities and events. (e.g. Interview mentors and mentees to be featured in videos or written stories.) Create and schedule social media content or advertisements for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Track and report data relating to social media platforms. Maintain the organization's website by editing/creating pages, creating web graphics, and writing for the organization's blog. Track and report data relating to the website. High degree of collaboration with recruitment team, fundraising team, service delivery staff, and supervisor to ensure transition among functions. Communicate with external vendors and ensure items are within the agency budget. Attend and promote agency fundraising and outreach events. Support team by participating in tabling and/or outreach opportunities as needed. Explore and keep up to date on best practices in the field, including outreach, development, and marketing areas. Participate in training and/or continuing education on relevant material for professional development. Adhere to agency values in all job-related activities. Support, and collaborate with, other departments, including program and Mission Support, along with the agency's DEI efforts, to accomplish organization goals. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Education Level: Minimum Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related field preferred.
Related Work Experience: Experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, website maintenance, social media, Adobe Suite, Canva, Meta Business, Google applications, Buffer, photography, and videography.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills (email, phone, and face-to-face). Ability to adapt to flexible work hours.
