Job Description: The client is looking for a Software Products Quantitative UX Researcher for a 7+ months contract position in San Francisco, CA (onsite in a hybrid model). Responsibilities: Design, execute, socialize learnings on new product experience. Collaborate with XFN partners to identify research priorities. Collaborate with XFN partners to apply learnings to product, design, and engineering strategy. Conduct foundational and tactical quantitative research (e.g., surveys). Conduct foundational and tactical qualitative research (e.g., interviews, diary studies). Collaborate with Design, PM, Data Science, and Eng stakeholders to direct and advise on product, design, and ranking tactical and strategic product decisions in support of the launch of a new product. Experience: 5+ years’ experience as UX Researcher for software products. 5+ years’ experience with quantitative UX research methods (e.g., surveys, logs data analysis, machine learning techniques). 3+ years’ experience with qualitative UX research methods (e.g., interviews, diary studies, usability studies would be a plus). Log data analysis experience. Experience with SQL/Python. Survey design expertise. Experience with Dscout, UserTesting would be a plus. Skills: Qualitative UX Research Planning & Facilitation Quantitative UX Research Planning & Facilitation AI/GenAI Education: MA or PhD in Social Science (e.g., psychology, social psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, etc).
