We are seeking an innovative and strategic Head of Social Media to lead our social media strategy, execution, and growth. The ideal candidate is a visionary thinker with a proven track record in building, scaling, and optimizing social media content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and measurable ROI. This leadership role will oversee the social media team and collaborate across departments to ensure cohesive messaging, brand alignment, and business growth through creative storytelling and data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Implementation:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s brand, mission, and goals.

Identify trends, platforms, and opportunities to position the brand as a leader in its industry.

Set measurable KPIs for social media performance and ensure continuous optimization.

Content and Campaign Oversight:

Lead the creation and curation of engaging, high-quality, and platform-specific content.

Oversee social media campaigns, ensuring innovative storytelling and alignment with brand messaging.

Manage a content calendar to maintain consistency across platforms.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of social media specialists, content creators, and community managers.

Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.

Provide training and professional development opportunities to ensure the team stays ahead of trends.

Analytics and Reporting:

Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.

Translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

Stay informed of emerging trends, audience behavior shifts, and competitive activity.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with marketing, PR, and creative teams to align social media strategies with broader marketing campaigns.

Collaborate with influencers, partners, and brand ambassadors to amplify reach.

Serve as a key spokesperson for social media internally and externally, advocating for best practices and innovation.

Community Engagement:

Lead efforts to grow and nurture the brand’s online community.

Develop strategies to enhance customer experience and engagement through active listening and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

7+ years of experience in social media management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Expertise in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Pinterest, YouTube) and analytics tools.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and paid social strategies.

Proven track record of developing viral campaigns and growing brand presence.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Creative thinker with a deep understanding of brand storytelling and audience psychology.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Skills:

Experience in mental health / behavioral health.

Strong knowledge of utilization of brand guidelines and design theory.

Proficiency in design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).

Familiarity with social media management tools (SEMrush, Meta Business Suite)
