Kowa Health Care US Co, Ltd is a start-up company ready to embark on an exciting new venture to introduce a dynamic range of sports drinks to the US market. The new beverage division will cater to a growing market of health-conscious consumers looking for innovative hydration solutions. We will launch our first beverage offering, Syncron, as a nutritional sports drink in Southern California with expectations to expand across the United States. JOB TITLE: Field Marketing Manager
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
LOCATION: Los Angeles
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for developing and executing localized marketing campaigns that directly support sales efforts in specific regions by way of managing a team of Brand Ambassadors and working closely with the sales team to align marketing activities with regional sales goals
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages a team of Brand Ambassadors to drive trial, brand awareness, brand loyalty, and ultimately sales
- Planning, budgeting, executing, and measuring the effectiveness of field marketing initiatives across various channels like retail locations, trade shows, and community events
- Campaign development and execution: Create and implement targeted field marketing campaigns aligned with overall marketing strategy and regional sales objectives, including event planning, promotional materials, and customer engagement activities
- Team management: Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage a team of Brand Ambassadors, assigning tasks, providing training, and overseeing their performance in the field
- Sales collaboration: Partner closely with sales teams to identify local market needs, prioritize target accounts, and ensure marketing efforts directly contribute to consumer pull
- Budget management: Develop and manage field marketing budgets, allocating funds effectively across different campaigns and initiatives
- Metrics and reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of field marketing campaigns, including lead generation, customer engagement, and ROI, to inform future strategies
- Local market analysis: Understand local market dynamics, customer demographics, and competitor landscape to tailor marketing strategies accordingly
- Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including retailers, distributors, and community partners to facilitate successful field marketing initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma required; Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years experience displaying dynamic leadership skills to manage and motivate marketing teams
- Project management skills to executive complex marketing initiatives on time and within budget
- Analytical skills to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and campaign management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and training ability
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must live within the defined geography for the region
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age

1. Compensation
Field Marketing Manager is an exempt, salaried position. Salary offered is based on relevant experience at the time of hire. General range of starting salary is $70,000 - $80,000.
2. Bonus
Field Marketing Manager's may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
