Pay Range: $70/hr to $78/hr

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Content Design Consultant to join our dynamic team and contribute to the redesign of an existing payments product. This contract role is focused on improving the user experience by implementing new technology, revising flows, and ensuring that all designs adhere to brand and accessibility (A11y) standards. The consultant will play a critical role in documenting revisions, identifying error states, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a top-tier product experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Design Lead and team members to learn and apply editorial and design guidelines.
- Work closely with Product and Development teams to share design progress and validate implementation accuracy on mobile interfaces.
- Create detailed visual designs for native iOS applications, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Participate in presentations with executive leadership, communicating design strategies and solutions.
- Maintain design specifications and documentation, ensuring alignment with A11y standards and potential error states.
- Lead the creation of style guides for development teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Interaction Design, Visual Design, and User-Centric Design.
- Expertise in Figma for designing complex interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS 3 to understand their impact on design, particularly within the financial industry.
- Experience designing for native iOS applications, preferably within the banking sector.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and its application in design projects.
- Proven ability to work independently and create high-quality designs with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in visual design, product management, interaction design, or related fields.
- Knowledge of information architecture, usability principles, and accessibility standards for native applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to create and implement style guides.
