:Serve as a graphic designer for the Healthyhorns team with the support of the Art Director and Brand ManagerCollaborate with clients to design a range of marketing and communication materials, including print items, digital content, promotional items, presentations and more. Meet with clients in person for high-priority or detailed projects as needed.Provide multiple rounds of proofs, incorporating requested edits. Request physical proofs of select items to ensure accuracy.Maintain an organized file structure for proofs and final materials.Adhere to university style guides and branding specifications in all design work.Possible supervision of graphic design student employees.Serve as the production manager for the team Develop production schedules, coordinate orders with clients, designers, and vendors, and ensure quality control for all produced items. This includes preparing materials for print, selecting vendors in adherence with University procurement guidelines, obtaining quotes, placing orders, monitoring progress, and overseeing the acceptance and delivery of orders.Provide on-site assistance with tasks such as setting up signage, printing name badges, and creating door name plates, along with other hands-on projects.Serve as a member of the Healthyhorns Public Information TeamAttend weekly PIT Creative meetings and bi-weekly PIT Committee meetings to share project updates and collaborate with the Public Information Team. Alongside 3 other staff members, fulfill in-person presentation requests and other outreach needs as they arise (responsible for approximately 20% of outreach requests).Maintain inventory tracking and manage the storage of PITs print and promotional materials.Consistently exhibit professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional customer service in all aspects of work.Maintain a regular and punctual attendance pattern.Participate in other projects and activities as appropriate and assigned.Required QualificationBachelors degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design tools.Minimum of 2 years experience in graphic design and production management, preferably in a higher education or large organization environment.Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a proven track record in developing production schedules, maintaining file structures, placing orders and coordinating with vendors.Experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences, with the ability to speak confidently in front of groups, respond to questions, and adjust content based on audience needs.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Works effectively in both collaborative and autonomous work environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with college students in a health and wellness environment.Familiarity with project management software, particularly Monday.com.Experience in inventory management, including tracking quantities, organizing stock, and ensuring proper storage and accessibility of materials.Experience working in cross-functional teams.Salary Details$50,000 annually + depending on qualificationsWorking ConditionsOccasional moves items up to 20 pounds alone and over 20 pounds with assistance.Able to bend, stoop or climb as needed.Use of computer keyboard and other tools and hardware used in design and graphics projects.Occasional evening and weekend hours as needed for projects and events.May work under pressure and rigid deadlines.Required MaterialsResume/CV3 work references with their contact information; at least one reference should be from a supervisorLetter of interestImportantfor applicants who are NOT current university employees or contingent workers:You will be prompted to submit your resume the first time you apply, then you will be provided an option to upload a new Resume for subsequent applications.
