Role and ResponsibilitiesThe key functions and responsibilities of the Graphic Designer include:
- Ensure Brand Consistency:
Create and maintain brand guidelines, including typography, logos, color palettes, patterns, and photographic treatments. Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging. - Creative Design & Development:
Develop design briefs, concepts, storyboards, and drafts for projects, refining designs as needed. Generate high-quality designs for digital platforms (websites, email campaigns, social media, digital ads) and print materials (brochures, flyers, trade show collateral). Design infographics, charts, and other visuals to communicate complex information effectively. - Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with marketing, customer experience, sales, and product teams to develop and execute campaign designs. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand design requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals. Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring adherence to industry standards (CMYK, RGB, Pantone, bleed, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across digital and print media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
- Solid understanding of color theory, typography, and design composition principles.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with web design principles and tools like WordPress, Figma, or Adobe Express.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web design customization.
- Experience with video editing or motion graphics software like After Effects, Premiere Pro, and emerging design tools (AI, AR, & VR) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing error-free, high-quality work.
- Professional with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
While performing general office duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to communicate openly with others, lift light objects (<25 lbs), and use standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. There may be occasional needs to bend, twist, or squat to open/close cabinets and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate the required competencies consistently.
