Remote Fiber Designer

Description:?

Develop and design detailed OSP system layouts, including route analysis, fiber optic cable placement, pole line and underground conduit systems, and other related infrastructure

Telecom design and documentation of OSP and Fiber design, documentation, specifications, and construction administration

Perform field surveys and site visits to collect data and assess potential construction challenges

Create detailed drawings and maps using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software

Work closely with municipal authorities and other utility services to obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Monitor project progress, providing updates and adjustments to designs as needed to address field changes or challenges

Analyze and select appropriate materials and technologies to optimize network performance and cost-efficiency

Partnering with Sr. designers for final drawings and calculations

Researching design solutions and industry best practices

MUST HAVES:

Previous OSP of Fiber design experience

Fiber-to-the-home experience

ARC GIS experience preferred
