Graphic Designer Job Details
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for producing a variety of marketing materials, including pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, and infographics, using MS Office and Adobe applications at an advanced level. You will assist with creative PPT pitch books and offer conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials, including motion graphics. Your role will involve tracing and producing logos, maps, and illustrations, ensuring all materials are correctly branded as per standards, and advising clients on brand use. You will liaise with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions, and design requirements, complete related admin for accurate work billing and job tracking purposes, and assist with intake coordination when required. Additionally, you will be responsible for quality control of your own work, assist colleagues with QC tasks, buddy new starters post-training, and contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs.
Graphic Designer Mandatory Skills
- 0-5 years or above of admin/operational support in a corporate, service-oriented environment, ideally in a financial institution
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional)
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and cope with pressure
- Ability to assess work and make decisions from a technical point of view and prioritize requests efficiently
- Readiness to follow processes, policies, and procedures
- Creativity and strong understanding of the fundamental principles of graphic design and layout
Graphic Designer Desired Skills
- MapInfo, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, and Blender
- Knowledge of external print processes
