The Director of Channel Marketing is responsible for leading strategic development and execution of channel marketing initiatives that drive engagement, membership growth, and product adoption across multiple channels. The Director leads the Channel Marketing team and work closely with leadership to optimize customer journeys, enhance member experiences, and grow the Credit Union's membership base.
What you will do here:
Channel Strategy and Development
Support overall financial well-being marketing initiatives including financial education efforts.
Develop comprehensive channel marketing strategies that supports membership growth along with our core products such as Mortgages, HELOCs, Auto Loans and Checking Accounts.
Innovate and execute marketing campaigns that drive traffic to our website and branches in order for our lines of business to drive and meet KPIs as well as develop growth in the market
Develop and execute media buying strategies with agencies to ensure positive returns on advertising strategies. Negotiate contracts and rates with agencies and potential sponsorships.
Leadership and Collaboration
Lead, mentor, manage assignments and performance appraisals of the Channel Marketing team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability Partner with the broader marketing team in the planning, development and execution of various campaigns and initiatives.
Performance Analytics
Partner with digital marketing and social media to establish clear ROI metrics for campaigns and tactics
Partner with data insights to create dashboards for campaigns and product offerings
Project Management
Review and enhance the current marketing projects, assisting the team to identify opportunities to develop efficiencies and drive projects to completion.
Vendor management responsibilities
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
required.
7+ years' experience in Marketing, with a focus on Channel Marketing
required.
5+ years' experience in progressive leadership roles in Marketing
required.
1+ years' experience in financial services or other regulated industry a plus
preferred.
Proven success in Channel Marketing, including tactical and strategic achievement, with samples and results of past campaigns
required.
Outstanding communication presentation skills and influencing skills
required.
Strong collaboration and relationship building skills with ability to work across diverse teams
required.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding and developing a high-performance team
required.
Experience with media buying strategies and agency relationships
preferred.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
preferred.
In-depth knowledge of digital marketing platforms, media and ad placement, analytics tools, and marketing automation software
preferred.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
preferred.
