JOB BRIEF

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This role will support or take the lead on various marketing functions, including content creation, social media management, event coordination, and administrative tasks to ensure the quality execution of all marketing activities.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing team in executing content creation, social media management, event coordination, and administrative tasks to ensure successful marketing initiatives. The role focuses on developing engaging content, enhancing the company's social media presence, assisting with advertising campaigns, coordinating events, and supporting sales and marketing administration. This position requires strong organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment to drive effective marketing strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Content Marketing

    • Develop and create engaging content for advertising campaigns, newsletters, social media posts, press releases, eBlasts, blogs, articles, and video scripts.
    • Proofread, review, and edit marketing materials and web content to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and strategic alignment.
  • Social Media Marketing
    • Manage and maintain the company's LinkedIn account, focusing on increasing followers and driving engagement through creative campaigns.
    • Monitor analytics to measure performance and recommend improvements.
  • Advertising Marketing
    • Assist with designing, producing, and distributing marketing advertisements and promotional materials through Canva.
  • Event Marketing
    • Support trade show coordination, including promotions, sample shipments, booth set-up, and dismantling.
    • Create detailed trade show recaps, including interviews, booth, and product footage.
  • Market Research
    • Compile and maintain high-quality B2B email lists using customer data platforms for targeted eBlasts.
  • Sales Support
    • Process, distribute, track, and follow up daily sales leads.
    • Direct Mailing Campaign Execution, both email service (Constant Contact) and regular direct mail
    • Manage ordering and coordination of marketing collateral with print vendors.
    • Oversee the shipment process for sales and vendor materials.
  • Marketing Administration
    • Assist the Marketing Manager with tasks as assigned.
    • Organize and maintain marketing assets, including SharePoint folders, publications, catalogs, and inventory in the warehouse.
    • Obtain management approval for purchases, invoices, and expenses while coordinating with accounting.
    • Support website management and updates for us.axiomtek.com.
    • Ensure adherence to the company's Quality Management System.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing (B.S./B.A.), and 1+ years of relevant experience in marketing, digital communications, or content creation.
  • Excellent and professional written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Experience with video editing and footage creation.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Canva, Illustrator, or Photoshop will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Tech-savvy, resourceful, and a quick learner.
