Essential Functions

Creative:

  • Develop and innovate a creative vision that aligns with JACK Entertainment’s brand and goals.
  • Oversee the development of creative concepts, from ideation to execution, across all advertising mediums and platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Promotions Operation Teams to create cohesive strategies for monthly promotions from development to execution.
  • Ensure all creative output aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects ensuring timely delivery within budgeted constraints.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with the Creative Team to ensure that the creative work of JACK Entertainment and betJACK remains fresh and captivating.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to foster collaboration and alignment.

Leadership:

  • Lead the development and operations of the Creative Department.
  • Responsible for hiring, discipline, development and promoting team members.
  • Meet individually with team members to discuss career goals, identify skills needed to achieve goals and develop action plans to satisfy both.
  • Coach and develop team members through the JACK Entertainment organization.
  • Delegate the creative needs to the appropriate team members to ensure efficient and effective work.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with the Creative Team to ensure that the creative work of JACK Entertainment and betJACK remains fresh and captivating.
  • Establish quality standards and provide constructive feedback to elevate creative work.
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing Services to produce highly targeted advertising material.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Advertising.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to work independently; must be dependable and flexible
  • Ability to apply creative solutions to unusual problems
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives and tasks simultaneously and be able to continually assess and re-set priorities.
  • Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Advertising or Marketing or equivalent education, training or experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Advertising.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a management role.
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products is required.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
