Sr. Level Designer
The Design team creates, markets, and operates a variety of products that seek to provide relevant, engaging and creative content to our guests. We are looking for highly capable and talented individuals to work on an online Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game as Level Designers. Ideal candidates will have converged technology, art, audio and game design to create a highly desirable playable experience; be detail-oriented; be able to quickly adapt to a fast and changing environment; and have a passion for game development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and implement original game content and assets using in-house toolsGenerate ideas for levels that contribute to game vision in concert with narrative systems and motivationsParticipate in cross-team delivery implementation engaging with engineering, art, design, programmers and producers to make content playableWork in Unreal to concept and construct level blockouts and encounters working with artists & programmersConsult artists in the dressing and polish of your designed levels, to achieve goals of narrative and gameplayCollaborate with programmers on gameplay events and behaviors to create rich, interactive experiencesConsult with technical specialists to guide the creation of in-house tools for use by the design teamsPlay test and refine game contentCreate and maintain internal and online documentationQUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in visual media such as concept art; environmental, architectural, and interior design; illustration and storyboarding; and 3D modelingExperience with modeling and world creation tools new to UE5Appreciation for narrative across game and non-game media such as film, television, comics, etc.Experience in 3D art packages with strong experience drawing Vector Art.Strong experience using Adobe Flash in drawing of Vector ArtExperience in Game Design and/or the entertainment industry is requiredExperience with Mobile Game developmentPassion for games and the video games industry
