The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of SEO best practices, along with proven experience in designing, executing, and evaluating growth strategies. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team of product managers, designers, engineers, content creators, data analysts, and subject matter experts. You'll play a critical part in identifying new growth opportunities, proposing innovative SEO strategies, and driving the company's organic visibility to new heights. Collaborate with the marketing team to draft, optimize, and implement SEO content.

Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify search opportunities.

Perform technical SEO audits and apply necessary optimizations.

Design and execute strategies to track, analyze, and enhance SEO performance.

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., paid marketing) to align efforts.

Partner with developers and product teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across platforms.

Develop and present SEO strategies and performance reports to stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.

Act as the SEO advocate and subject matter expert within the organization.

Coordinate with distribution partners to increase organic visibility through collaborative SEO strategies.

Qualifications:

2+ years of SEO experience, including hands-on work with strategy and execution.

Strong expertise in organic search competitor analysis.

Proficiency with Google Analytics and Similarweb.

Comfortable working with Google Docs and Microsoft SharePoint.

Passionate about SEO and internet marketing with a solid grasp of SEO best practices.

Able to create, communicate, and implement SEO strategies across multiple teams.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project scope and timelines.

Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Analytical and data-driven mindset with an eye for detail.

Solid project management skills.

Excellent writing skills to produce clear and compelling SEO content.

Local to Milwaukee, WI.

Experience using tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and Similarweb.

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Familiarity with CMS platforms and other digital tools.

Understanding of other marketing channels, such as PPC.

Experience with technical SEO and optimizing collaborative efforts with distribution partners.
