Role: Senior UI/UX Developer
Duration: 6+ months with extension
Location: Chicago, IL ( HYBRID ONSITE )

Rate: $67/hr. c2c

•Modern/accessible/semantic HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, JS (ES6+)
•React, Next.js, Node.js
•Git, Docker, npm, command-line tools, end-to-end CI/CD solutions using platforms like TeamCity (preferred)
•Responsive, cross-browser web development
•Produce work that is fast, responsive, accessible, meets industry standards (e.g. WCAG 2.1), true to sophisticated design specifications, and is cross-compatible with all major browsers, devices, and operating systems.
•Develop code that is clean, semantic, well-documented, and efficient.
•Implement content and feature updates for ongoing projects.
•Flexibly work in different tech stacks - React-based sites as well as landing pages in Sitecore CMS.
•Scope and prioritize work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
•Provide accurate estimates and stay true to timelines and budgets.
•Ideate during design stages to create innovative and engaging experiences.
•Improve the team's development (and design) standards and showcase new techniques.

Skills/experience
•5+ years of experience (with proven portfolio of work)
•BS/BA preferably in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience/training
•Modern/accessible/semantic HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, JS (ES6+)
•React, Next.js, Node.js
•Git, Docker, npm, command-line tools, end-to-end CI/CD solutions using platforms like TeamCity (preferred)
•Responsive, cross-browser web development
•Database management (preferred)
•Accessibility and SEO concepts
•Browser developer tools (e.g., Inspect, Console, Network, etc.)
•Web testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack)
•ADA testing tools (e.g., WAVE, A11Y, VoiceOver)
